I finally have an itinerary!
It's official....I have my final final itinerary!
I received an e-mail from "Kierstin at It's Your World Travel" last night during my going away/pizza party put on by Mrs. Collins, but held at the Priewe's house. All I had to do was print out the guarantee form, circle a few things and then have my mom sign by the "x". I faxed the paper off this morning; meaning in a few days time my visa and tickets will be coming to me in a big white truck labeled "Federal Express".
So, my itinerary is as follows: I leave portland at 2:11 pm (much better than 7:45 am, I must add) on Monday the 31st. I'll arrive in Minneapolis after about two and a half hours, hang out in the airport for another two hours or so, then board the plane for a nine hour flight over to Amsterdam, arriving at 12:40 pm European time. There'll be two and a half more hours spent in Amsterdam before I board my final plane for the short (only one and a half hour) flight to Göteborg, arriving in Sweden at 4:45 pm, Swedish time (7:45 am Oregon time). That means that I could be in my host family's house as early as 6:45 pm.
Only 10 days left....

looks like we will miss your going away party. But we will be thinking about you and, of course, will raise our glasses and YOU will be the subject of a TOAST at (unnamed lake)! Here's to you! Look out Sweden!

Hey your town looks pretty rockin', but not as cool as Philomath. (of course.) Emily and I won't forget you in Yearbook or any other time. I hope you have LOADS of fun and I'm really excited to hear how everything is going! Have fun and we'll miss you!

Woooo...I'm jealous. That's great that you'll finally be in "your" country. I'm still waiting on IYWT to give me anything, any information at all. Originally, Kiersten told me I would be leaving in early July. I'm sick of waiting. I read your earlier blogs...I don't have a tentative itinerary yet. Wahhhhhhh. :)

Youre gone! :) :( The happy face is because i'm so excited for you! do you realize all the adventures your going to have?! The sad face is that you actaully gone. You better keep this thing updated OR.......else......
